The gameplay is simplistic, the only buttons use dare the d-pad and a and b buttons. digimon Battle spirit is a fighting game jam packed with the chariatic and charming digital monsters. Though being about as shallow as a half filled kiddy pool, you hvae to take some enjoyment from the maic action with comic super powered attacks. The game is easy as hell, and the levels, though each having their own strategic impairments, are pretty simiar. The basic aim of the Game is to defeat the evil milleniumon. To do this one must battle through the other digimonal, touching cutsey little calumon to digivolve, and attacking digi-fellows for the orbs they drop- the digimonal when time is up woth the most orbs wins. Graphically the game is ok, the character models bring the feeling of the show to the game. Though not amazing, they are rather nice. The battle effects match well with the graphic style and characters. To conclude, a fairly good game, which one must approach with low expectations and an open mind.
