In Cubic Tac Toe each side of a cube is a different game of Tic Tac Toe. But each side is not completely independent from the next. If 2 sides share an edge, they also share the symbols played on those adjacent squares. Players can think ahead and prepare the next move to win multiple sides in a single play. Each player also has 2 rotations per turn so they can rotate sides to take advantage of the new layout or disrupt the opponent's advantage.
