Aimed at promoting language, literacy, mathematics, and thinking skills, this FREE App features the 50 cards from CardEd Set 3 and lots of activity ideas. This App has been designed to provide access to our CardEd resources, an educational range of products, created by the experienced teachers at Dumond Education.
This CardEd App is suitable for use by parents and teachers looking for fun and interesting ways to promote learning. It is not designed for independent use by children. Our focus is on promoting learning through communication and interaction.
What is CardEd?
CardEd are educational cards, featuring 6 zones - a colour, symbol, letter, word, number, and mathematics/image zone.
CardEd Set 3 cards feature larger numbers (51 – 100), > and <, creating new words using a variety of final digraphs/blends, more complex word ladders and compound words tasks, as well as providing an introduction to Sudoku and magic squares.

Our CardEd App is very easy to use. All you need to do is select an activity and a card. The App provides lots of activity suggestions based around each of the zones. Not happy with the suggestion? Simply select another idea from the random generator. Next, select a CardEd card to use for the activity.
Children learn when adults are responsive to them and when positive conversations are taking place. CardEd activities encourage positive conversations by creating opportunities for interaction and fun. CardEd activities may be used in a range of settings and contexts: at home, at school or when out-and-about. They are useful as icebreaker activities, lesson starters, and for individual/group games. Families may enjoy packing a CardEd deck or using the CardEd App to pass the time on long journeys.
