The German English CrossWord is based on the popular Crossword puzzle. When you start CrossWord up for the first time, or when you press the NEW button, a fresh puzzle is created for you. In the puzzle are 15 or so different words. These words may be either English words with German clues or words in German with English clues, depending on your choice. When you think you know a word, click on the appropriate white square and type the word into the pop-up box provided.You do not need to add any accents (such as Ñ,Á,Ù) If you do not have a keypad, a software keyboard is provided. You may also be asked to say whether the word goes ACROSS or DOWN the puzzle. When you have typed in all the words, a congratulatory message is displayed, telling you how long you took to solve the puzzle. Alternatively, if one of the words that you have entered is incorrect, a message will tell you which one. Press the NEW button to see a completely new puzzle. If, at any time, you cannot find all the words, press the SOLVE button. If you are stuck for a word, press the Help button.
