You can eliminate randomness from the game. Your achievements will depend solely on your wit, acumen and quickness of mind. The absence of a random factor opens opportunities for a competition. Rules. You have a board and covered cells on it. Some of the cells contain mines, but you don't know which. Your job is to uncover every cell which does not contain a mine. If you uncover a cell containing a mine, you lose. If you uncover a cell which does not contain a mine, you are told how many mines are contained within the eight surrounding cells. To make a move, click on a covered cell. Two icons will appear next to the cell. If you select the spade icon you will reveal the cell. If you select the flag icon you will mark the cell as if it has a mine. The default setting is to protect against a vague state on the board. Protection is turned on whenever it is impossible to calculate the next move (it’s a vague state) and protection is turned off when calculation is possible. In a state of certainty, if you do not see the right move, you can use a hint (after some delay). To do this, click on the HINT button. In this version of the application, the protection mode is valid for a limited period.
